How can i treat my back pain?

i honestly dont know whats wrong with my back it hurts occassionaly it might be hereditary because my dad has to take oxycodone for his back but he says in severe pain now i dont feel severe pain but from time to time it will hurt and ibuprofen and tylenol dont help i have tooken oxycodone b4 to relieve pain and it worked but we cant afford that medication for me so i dont know what to do it can get annoying
