Please tell me whats wrong with this man...?

One of my friend's fathers is very abusive to his kids..he told two of his younger kids to go kill themselves, and one of them had struggled with severe depression and passed away not too long ago. The cause of the son's passing has remained undetermined. After his son passed away..he began dating and rarely shows any type of sadness over his son. What is wrong with this man?
