My AcerAspireOne computer won't connect to AC power!!! Urgent!!!?

It was charging fine until BAM! It wasn't connecting to AC power any more. The thought crossed my mind that it may be the elctric in my room (it won't connect to AC on any outlet in my room but i haven't tried it in another room) Before you say. Just use Acer Support!!! I can't. I don't have a phone I can use. So please answer and tell me whether I should buy a new charger or just see if the elctrics working in my room.
